BBA (Facilities and Hygiene Management)

“Green skills should be as ubiquitous as IT skills” - European Commission
BBA in Facilities and Hygiene Management is India’s first-of-its-kind program that will prepare you for careers in Facility Management, Waste Management, Water, and Sanitation. During the program, you would be prepared to ensure basic regulatory standards of health and safety as well as the implementation of mechanised and automated hygiene measures in any infrastructure like offices, airports, railways, and so on. Additionally, you would be encouraged to develop a “sustainability mindset” through solution-based thinking and problem-solving challenges present in the environment like waste and garbage disposal. By pursuing a career in the field, you would be contributing to the Circular Economy based on the idea that resources circulate as products are reused, repaired and remanufactured, then eventually broken down for materials recycling without creating any waste and finding opportunities in the facility management.
No. of Seats: 150

You are a great fit for the field if you:

  • Are interested in cleaning, hygiene, waste and environmental issues.
  • Enjoy being outdoors and physical activities.
  • Like working in teams and handling high-pressure situations.

Curriculum Advisory Group

In line with the mission and vision of DSEU to create industry relevant courses the Curriculum Advisory Group (CAG) is a mix of passionate educators and subject matter experts from academics and industry. There is a unique CAG for each of the bachelors and masters level courses. The CAG has analyzed the conceptual needs of the course as well as the employability needs and entrepreneurial opportunities offered to the students by the course. Based on their analysis the CAG has developed the program structure, selected the courses to be included, designed the syllabus, suggested the pedagogical approach, outlined the contours of the assessment, suggested modes of and the nature of industry interactions, and aspects of internships and apprenticeships offered in the course. The CAG for this course includes 11 members. For certain reasons, 2 of the members of this CAG prefer to be anonymous.
