BBA (Automotive Retail Management)

BBA in Automotive Retail Management (in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.) is an undergraduate program that enables students to acquire excellent technical and soft skills in automobile sales. This unique course which is designed in collaboration with MSIL will help students achieve fast-paced career growth in the automobile retail industry. The course curriculum covers the full spectrum of business processes involved in the automobile retail field and allows the candidates to learn about various aspects of retail business through OJT in Maruti Suzuki showrooms. In the first-year, students will attend CRT, in the second and the third year, students will attend 5 days of OJT per week at Maruti Suzuki Dealership in Delhi-NCR. The students will have an opportunity to ‘Earn while Learn’ and get a stipend for 24 months starting with approx. Rs. 8000/- per month in the 2nd year, and approx. Rs. 9000/- per month in the 3rd year plus additional benefits as applicable.

Curriculum Advisory Group

In line with the mission and vision of DSEU to create industry relevant courses the Curriculum Advisory Group (CAG) is a mix of passionate educators and subject matter experts from academics and industry. There is a unique CAG for each of the bachelors and masters level courses. The CAG has analyzed the conceptual needs of the course as well as the employability needs and entrepreneurial opportunities offered to the students by the course. Based on their analysis the CAG has developed the program structure, selected the courses to be included, designed the syllabus, suggested the pedagogical approach, outlined the contours of the assessment, suggested modes of and the nature of industry interactions, and aspects of internships and apprenticeships offered in the course.
