Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University aims to nurture an ‘entrepreneurial mindset’ as well as skills and abilities to start one’s enterprise. The focus is that students not only learn to become entrepreneurial professionals but also ‘Employers of Tomorrow’. The School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship would help students to learn skills that will prepare them from the initial development of a business plan, to financing a start-up and managing a growing business. The School offers courses that encourage innovative ideas, identification of market opportunity, understanding strengths and weaknesses and risk-taking behaviour in an aspiring entrepreneur. While providing intensive personal counselling to students and helping them identify entrepreneurial opportunities in existing untapped markets, the school will prepare students to gain fundamental business skills, and discover new ideas, ways of working, and the tools and frameworks that are essential to begin an entrepreneur in the modern age.
