Ms. Preeti completed her Diploma in Medical Electronics in 2010 from Ambedkar Institute of Technology, now known as DSEU Shakarpur Campus. After diploma she pursued B.Tech through Lateral Entry from IP University. She joined Ambedkar Institute of Technology as a part time Lecturer for 4 years. Having studied from the same institute, she was able to relate to the students and enhance the teaching-learning process for students. Simultaneously she followed her academic interests and completed her Masters from IP University. She started her career with SS Rana & Co. as a Patent Associate and got promoted to Patent Agent. Currently she is working as a Patent Attorney at Depenning and Depenning Law.
Ms. Preeti shared that while studying at AIT, she was able to practice in the college itself. She added that the labs and classrooms were equipped to enable the hands-on learning experience, which helped her a lot. She further added that the Diploma course gives the student an edge as they gain in-depth knowledge of their field. Preeti said that with support from the faculty she was able to sharpen her communication skills by participating in extra- curricular activities at the institute. This helped build her self confidence.
For students looking to join the Diploma course, she advised “A diploma will help you gain proficiency in skills as per the need of the sector. If you work hard, there is a pool of opportunities awaiting you”.
