Ashok Kumar completed his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from GB Pant Polytechnic College, Okhla now known as DSEU Okhla: I Campus under the ambit of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University. Ashok has worked with Tractor India Limited and Bhushan Steels. Ashok has also briefly worked with Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Technology as a Technical Assistant in 2008. Post diploma, Ashok also completed his B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. At present, he is working in a PSU – Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited as a Scientific Assistant.
Ashok expressed that the growth in his career has been immensely supported by the knowledge he gained during the 3 year diploma course. With the skills and technical aspects, he emphasised he learned interpersonal skills as well, that helped him in his first job. His peers and faculty proved to be a great support to understand career prospects.
In the context of pursuing a diploma course from Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, Ashok mentioned that students would be able to get expertise in the field and will also have ample opportunities to pursue if they wish to join the industry post diploma.
