Mrs. Seema Nagrath has been teaching in the Fashion Design Department at DSEU Pitampura Campus since 2000. She strides to enhance the imagination and innovation of her students in a practically viable manner. Prior to teaching, she has worked as a Creative Designer, Merchandiser, CAD Operator in Design Studio, Export House and Buying Agency of repute in Delhi for nearly 8 years. Her interest areas are subjects and topics related to History of Fashion (Indian and European), Fashion Illustration, Basic Design, Design Portfolio, Fashion Forecasting, Indian Traditional Textiles, Minor Project Work, Major Project Work, Art and Craft, Drawing, Painting and Sketching. She has conducted workshops to enhance the creative skills of students in collaboration with industries which covered stencil work, glass painting, silk screen painting, block printing, nozzle painting, paper craft, spray painting, hand painting on different surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, paper, fabrics, etc. She has been a Trade Expert in developing curriculum for ‘Apparel Sector’ at the WCSC (World Class Skill Centre), Government of NCT of Delhi. She has been an active team member to develop curriculum for Fashion Design, Textile Design with her team for NITTTR, Chandigarh and syllabus of Fashion Design & Technology for DSEU.
