Dr. Sahil Koul has 2 years of teaching experience and 10 years of industry experience. Formerly, he has worked with the FITT, Indian Institute of Technology – Delhi as a Senior Manager where he was responsible for product development of the mechanical engineering focused innovations. He has also worked on several exciting projects at the Extang Corporation, an automotive accessory manufacturer located in the USA.

His research interests are in interdisciplinary areas that include driverless car technology, new product development, technology acceptance, emerging automotive material trends, quality management and leadership.  He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals, presented at international conferences, and also serves as a reviewer for several international journals.

Dr Koul is certified in CATIA, AutoCAD, Robotic Handling Tool Operation/Programming and Lean Manufacturing.
