Mr Rakesh Kumar has more than 20 years of experience teaching at Guru Nanak Dev DSEU Rohini Campus. During this tenure, he has been the Head and In charge of the Mechanical Engineering Department. He also worked as a Training & Placement officer, BTE Exam Superintendent, Assistant Exam Superintendent, BTE Representative/Observer as well as a member in CET cell. Mr. Verma has received an appreciation certificate from the Controller in 2001 and CET (Common Entrance Test) 2015. He is also a lifetime member of the Centre for Education Growth and Research.

Mr. Kumar has attended about 30 short term courses spread across 40 weeks and has accomplished many leadership responsibilities such as a member of various committees such as the E-auction Committee, the Election Committee of part-time faculty, member of Purchase Committees in Mechanical Engineering Department, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at institute level and member to design and develop the front web page of CET 2015.

Mr. Kumar is also a Master Trainer and Sector officer in Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha and MCD elections since 2001 and has received an appreciation certificate for the same. He has also participated in Cycle Relay Commonwealth Games 2010 and was awarded an appreciation cum participation certificate.
