Dr. Mamata R. Singh has about 26+ years of experience (24 + years in teaching & 2 years in field). She has dealt with teaching & allied works for 3 years for M. E. students in the Department of Building Engineering & Management (BEM), School of Planning & Architecture (SPA), New Delhi prior to joining at DTTE (now DSEU) in April 2001 through UPSC. She again served as Guest Faculty for 3 years in the BEM department at SPA, in addition to her regular teaching at DTTE (now DSEU) wherein along with teaching, she also guided Thesis works of many ME students as Thesis Supervisor. She has 42 research publications to her credit in various reputed International Journals, National Journals & International/National Conference Proceedings. She is recipient of three Best Paper Award in IBC Forum including one from LG of Delhi. She has participated in many International/National Conferences/Seminars/Workshops in India/Abroad.

She served as Member of three different National Technical Core Committee at NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority), Ministry of Home Affairs, GOI, entrusted with the task of developing National Guidelines in three different sectors for Disaster Risk Reduction. She is Empanelled as resource person/expert with various organisations (UPSC, NDMA GOI, BMTPC, IBC etc) and institutions (SPA Delhi, Amity Delhi, DCRUST Murthal, JMI Jamia Delhi, MNNIT Allahabad etc). She also has experience of organising and acting as Resource Person for various workshops, seminars and short term courses (including TEQIP). During her career at DTTE She has dealt with many allied duties in addition to teaching at DTTE such as Library In-charge, Building & Infrastructure Development (PWD & WCSC) In-charge, Chairperson of Committee for Differently Abled Persons, Member of Safety Committee etc.
