Mr. Jitendra Kumar has more than 12 years of teaching and administrative experience. Before joining DSEU Okhla-I Campus he worked with Shivalik College of Engineering, Dehradun as an Assistant Professor. His area of interest includes Thermal Engineering. He has attended various workshops/courses/seminars such as one day workshop on Faculty Training & Development organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, two days workshop on Finite Element Analysis of Structures-Substructure & Multi-Threaded, two-week GIAN Course at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, two-days training on Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (emerging trends & opportunities for career in solar) at New Delhi, and Faculty Development Programs such as Quality Teaching to Budding Engineers. He has also participated in various national and international conferences such as the International Symposium on Concentrated Solar Power by Delhi Technological University, National Conference by the Mechanical Department at Moradabad Institute of Technology, Moradabad, National Conference on Innovation and Advancement in Mechanical Engineering, National Conference on Innovation and Advancement in Mechanical Engineering in Shobhit University, Gangoh, Uttar Pradesh.

Mr. Kumar has performed various allied duties such as Nodal Officer at G.B. Pant DSEU Okhla-I Campus, Head of Mechanical Department, Chairperson of Time Table Committee and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Academics, member of Institute-Industry Cell, SC & ST Cell, Academic Cell (AICTE In-charge), Associate Dean Academics from November 2019 to September 2020, Nodal Officer Admission, and Nodal Officer fee collection 2019. He has also guided more than 15 undergraduate students.
