Dr. Vamsimohan is skilled in Molecular Biology, Medical Microbiology and Malaria Research and holds expertise on molecular mechanisms of drug resistance in Malaria. He has been a Junior Research Fellow in a DST project at JIPMER and a laboratory technologist at St. John’s Medical College and Hospital.

He has been awarded a Travel Grant from ‘Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB)’ for participating in ASM microbe, USA. He has also published and presented research work in several national and international conferences/journals.
