More than 1300 contestants below the age of 23, compete for gold, silver and bronze medals, in over 50 skills. WorldSkills India is an initiative of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship which has been leading India’s participation at WorldSkills International competitions since 2011. IndiaSkills Competition is the biggest skill competition in India held every two years exhibiting extraordinary talent from across the country with the support of State Governments and Industry. This year, with 20 plus States participating, IndiaSkills could reach out to the grass root level and celebrate the power of skills. Delhi State Level Competition at DSEU This year, for the first time the State Level Competitions are being organized in Delhi. It is a matter of great pride that DSEU will be responsible for the selection, management and participation of students, from which winners will then proceed to the next round, i.e. to the regional level and ultimately to the WorldSkills Competition slated to be held in Shanghai in 2022. The Delhi State Level Competitions have begun from 11th August 2021. Eligibility Any skilled person who is born on or after 1st January 1999 can participate in any of the skills mentioned below, with the exception of Aircraft Maintenance, Manufacturing Team Challenge, Mechatronics, Cyber Security, and Cloud Computing, where the candidate should have been born on or after 1st January 1996. No prior preparation is required for the MCQ test. The exam is designed to test your aptitude and knowledge of the skill you have registered for.
