It is a result of the partnership between the WCD department and the Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).This program will be led and implemented by the DSEU. The goal of WWP is to develop women entrepreneurs across Delhi using local Anganwadi Hub Centers as the base. The programme will train, and upskill the women in business skills like any other startup incubator.WWP will, in a nutshell, serve as an incubator for micro businesses by women, in Delhi. The WWP team will handhold these women by providing the necessary ecosystem support and a platform to attain knowledge for creating sustainable and thriving start-ups. It will implement the project right from mobilizing the women entrepreneurs to helping them get their teams in place, training them in all the business and domain specific skills, getting their businesses registered and getting them market linkages for sourcing as well as selling. The program will also introduce women to some business templates that they can use in their own communities. These businesses will be chosen looking at the interest and skills of the women, demand for the products or services & space and finance requirements. The programme aims to make them independent business women who can run and sustain their businesses themselves. The overarching objective of WWP is to help women build businesses and augment the income of women in the ecosystem. DSEU, with its footprints in the entrepreneurship domain over the past few years, will be the backbone for the programme, providing support and guidance for partnerships, training and infrastructure as needed. The Team - A team of 50 fellows, 10 Consultants and Associate Consultants will closely work with the Project Head to make the program a success.
