DSEU takes a lead in skilling digital design professionals – poised to be a top 5 job by 2025

You may have wondered which is more important; a good idea or the communication of a good idea? If you want to be in the field which ensures that a good idea is not lost because of poor communication then you are poised to join a field which is going to be among the top five jobs in the next five years. The broad title of this field is digital designer.

A digital design professional has a multitude of options available to them- from being a freelancer as a web and graphic designer for small businesses – to working in a MNC in their design teams. The range of salary you can expect as you graduate is INR 20,000-30,000 per month with possibilities to earn more as you gain experience.

As a digital designer you could be a graphic designer, illustrator, typographer, website designer, video editor, motion graphics (like the one you see in National Geographic), animator, and social media content writer. You could be working in the digital design wing of TCS or Cognizant, you could be the member of creative teams such as RR Donelly or Integron, you could be working in a digital marketing firm, you could be a designer of digital launches of large conferences. Sky is the limit today for someone who is skilled in digital design.

You must be thinking how I can join to train for such a job? At present either there are very expensive cost prohibitive courses with few real-world training opportunities or few niche, high end courses in design.

DSEU is launching a course called Bachelor of Arts in Digital Design and Media. The curriculum design for this course is being led by Prof. Matthew Kurien.  Professionals from industry leaders such as RR Donelly, Integreon, Williams Lea, TCS, and Cognizant are helping in further designing the course. Currently, DSEU is starting with 120 students. Come reserve a seat for yourself if you are creative and want to join an exciting field.
