Is it not amazing that you can digitally shop all kinds of products and services – food, clothes, travel, medicines, grocery, gold jewelry, large and small durables, rental of properties? As you can imagine for the availability of such a wide range of goods and services, there is a large army of people and processes working behind the scenes.
Bachelors in e-Commerce Operations at DSEU is an exciting new course that allows students to explore the world of e-Commerce in India. There is a growing demand for talent in this sector, for instance, there are roughly 4,000 to 5,000 jobs in warehousing and transportation in Delhi itself! This course provides specific knowledge in warehouse and inventory management, first and last mile logistics etc. There is hands-on-training through apprenticeships to ensure learning of such skills. The course will prepare you for managerial jobs and be future leaders in e-Commerce operations.
The course structure includes 2 years of classroom teaching interspersed with industry visits and guest lectures from faculty and 1 full year of paid apprenticeship where you can start earning INR 9000-10000 a month! On completing the course you can easily expect a salary of INR 20,000 – 35,000 per month and you would work as warehouse executive, supply chain assistant, inventory manager. Using technology, you’ll optimize space in warehouses and routes and time for delivery.
The curriculum for this course has been put together by an exceptional team with years of industry experience led by Prof. S. Ganesan and Prof Gayathri of Logistics Sector Skill council (LSC) and industry partners such as Ecom Express, Flipkart, Delhivery, and Amazon.
