Bachelors in Facilities & Hygiene Management is the first of its kind course in India that aims at preparing students for employment in Facility Management, Waste Management, and WASH sectors. There is a growing demand for workforce in these sectors. However, due to low awareness, stigma and lack of professional courses, there is a dearth of talent, creating a large number of job openings. The Course seeks to prepare youngsters as future leaders and role-models for this industry.

The curriculum for this course is being put together by an exceptional team led by Prashant Sule who is a stalwart of this industry. Senior leaders from the industry such as ServiceMASTER India, JLL India, SAAHAS, Carevil Facilities Private Limited, CRISP and Clean India Journal are supporting the development of the course. This year we have 60 seats in this course.

You might be wondering what will I do when I pass out of this course? Will I be cleaning super malls while my friends will be shopping? Will I become a kabadi wala after a university degree? What you will be doing is  leading teams of personnel to clean, you will motivate them, you will solve complex problems around management of waste, you will liaise with various other service providers to the facility. You will plan and strategize how to ensure that there is a sustainable method to save the environment and provide comfortable services to those using the facilities.
