The Latin American Cultural Centre has been representing and promoting Spanish language and the Hispanic culture in India for the past 13 years. Mundo Latino has trained over 12,000 students during this time through language, music and dance. It has affiliations with some of the leading Latin American embassies in India – including Peru (INPEFA), Cuba, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Bolivia. It is an Accredited Centre for SIELE examination in India, which is one of the two internationally recognised certifications for Spanish language. Mundo Latino offers Diplomas upto C1 level international. There are 2 Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) awarded by the Govt of India to one of the Founder Directors – Prof. Shalu Chopra, who is also the only Indian origin designerand author of Spanish Methodology books (Viva Latino 1 and 2), which are used as text and reference books in several leading schools and Universities in India. The IPRs have been awarded particularly for the originality of the content and methodology which includes ‘El Balance’ and ‘PVC’ and ‘PVCC’ and other such formulas to decode the language for accelerated learning.
