Chetak Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Chetak group, a leading player in logistics, in India. The Foundation is working on improving the quality of life for underprivileged communities in the logistic space and public at large in the domain of its focus areas. The foundation is an initiative of Smt. Krishna Sharma, Patron, Chetak Group, as a tribute to Late Shri J K Sharma, founder, Chetak Group, to manifest his vision and to carry out various CSR activities. Shri JK Sharma, created livelihood opportunities for thousands of people, and he was known for his passion to help the underprivileged people in society. His family and the Foundation are determined to take his legacy forward. Chetak Foundation has conceived specific interventions to enhance beneficiaries’ experience, focusing on the following areas to take the foundation’s mission forward. JAI KRISHNA SCHOLARSHIP AND LOGISTICS AWARDS Chetak Foundation has created a platform that will support the underprivileged students for education and livelihood, by setting up ‘Jai Krishna Scholarship and Logistics Awards’. The Jai Krishna Scholarship is established to offer financial help to identified Below the Poverty Line (BPL) and meritorious students with a passion to take up higher studies. Further, a competition will be organized along with our knowledge partners, inviting students to bring out innovative solutions to various problems being faced by the Logistics sector. The Jai Krishna Logistics Awards, judged by an eminent jury, will recognize and reward their skills and innovativeness.
