He is having total 36 years of professional experience, out of which 30 years is academic
experience and 6 years as industrial experience. Started his career in academic area in 1986 as
Assistant Professor in Govt. Engineering college, Jodhpur. His area of interest is ‘Industrial Automation’
and ‘Wireless Sensor Network’. In industries he has worked in various private and public sectors like
Indian Telephone Industries in the area of ‘Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange’ based on C-
DOT Technology. Joined this present institute in 1993. He was trained in Italy in Electronics,
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) in 1993. Imparted the training in Electrical, Electronics and PLC
to ITI, Diploma, B. Tech and M. Tech students. Designed the tailor-made courses as per need of
industries. Trained the maintenance staff of Tata Timex company in Noida. He has held the various key
positions like Head of Department for B. Tech (Mechatronics), Head of the Skill Development and Short-Term
Training courses, Head of Examination division for B. Tech and M. Tech, Chief Nodal Officer for Lab
development, Head of the Administration department, Member of Technical Committee, Editorial member of
Institute’s magazine etc. He has been mentoring to B. Tech (Mechatronics) students for their final year projects.
He has been appointed as member of ‘Syllabus Review Committee’ to design the Mechatronics course for UG level

students. He has been appointed as external examiner and paper setter on various occasions by the university.
He has been appointed as jury member for state and national level skill competition. He has published 5 journal
and 6 conference papers. He has published one book on ‘Basic Electronics’ for Vocational courses in CBSE. He is
member of ‘Institution of Engineers’ and ‘Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers’.
