Dr. Praveen Kumar has held various positions such as Nodal officer (Scholarship schemes), Chairman of SC/ST/OBC/PWD cell, Batch Coordinator of B. Tech and M. Tech (Tool Engineering), Lab In-charge of CAD/CAM Resource Center and Programming Logic Controller Lab. His research interests include sheet metal forming, friction stir welding, materials, manufacturing process and production engineering.
Dr. Kumar has participated in various short-term courses, faculty development programs, training, and workshops such as management development program on entrepreneurship and start-up, quality improvement program on advanced data analytics in management, role model as faculty in student life, on recent development and challenges in material and manufacturing process, and precision manufacturing technology for better tomorrow, personnel and establishment matters.
He has been a member of various committees such as Internal Complaint Committee, Benevolent Fund Compensation Recruitment on Compassionate Ground, Seniority, Promotion of DITE Employees, MACP, ACP, CESI scheme of Digital Information Research Foundation, and Admission Committee.
