Dr. Charu Gaur has received the National Skill Excellence award from Shri Vishwakarma Skill University and the DST International Travel award for participation in Euro Photonics in Brussels, Belgium in April 2016. Her research interests include computational imaging, non-interferometric phase imaging, phase retrieval techniques & algorithms. Her research team has developed a new spiral-phase diversity algorithm and its experimental demonstration for phase imaging and utilized sparsity-based algorithms for solving the twin image stagnation problem.
Dr. Gaur has attended many short-term courses and programs such as Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Communication skills, and orientation program from the University of Delhi. She is presently working as Nodal Officer, Board of Director of DITE Innovation and Incubation Foundation, Coordinator IIRS-ISRO outreach program, and Branch Counselor of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers student chapter of DSEU Okhla-II Campus.
