Prof. Arindam Kumar Chanda has 24 years of work experience. He has over 15 years of teaching experience in B.Tech. and M.Tech courses at G. B. Pant Government Engineering College, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Gautam Buddha University, and other reputed technological institutions and 5 years of Industrial experience at Heavy Engineering Industries in the areas of Project Planning and Execution related to the manufacturing of Cranes, Excavator, Dragline, Mining Machineries, Steel Plant equipment, Railway Bogie/Wheelset, Flyover etc. He also has 4 years of Regulatory and Administrative experience at AICTE in the areas of planning, implementation, & maintenance of standards of technical education at National level.
Prof. Chanda has accomplished many leadership roles such as HoD(MAE), Dean(Academics), and other Academic/ Administrative positions at GBPEC and other institutions. He has guided Ph. D. Scholars of NIT & Central University in the areas of Production Engineering and also guided B.Tech/AMIE/M.Tech students in their Projects/Research. He has published research papers in the indexed journals and conference proceedings and has also chaired sessions in conferences and seminars. Prof. Chanda has delivered expert lectures in the Faculty Development Programmes and is an Expert Member in the committees of AICTE, NDDTC-AIIMS, and other Institutions. He is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India), Member of Indian Society for Technical Education, Member of Society of Automotive Engineers, and Member of The Robotic Society. He has conducted Faculty Development Programmes and is a registered Mentor engaged in Mentoring of Faculties. He has also set-up Labs & guided students in extracurricular activities like SUPRA, Aero-design etc.
