Inspired by the Universe, where all planets are moving around the sun and also in their own orbits – representing both interdependence and independence the University logo represents each stakeholder within the University working towards their own goal and interdependent on each other. Humans have a fundamental need for meaning making. Thus, all of us are driven towards our purpose based on the sense we make of the events around us. The blue colour in the logo represents the Universe of skills and the small blue dots represent the goal of each member of the university. Outside of the layout, the orange dot represents the purpose of each student in life. The University aspires to encourage each student to pursue their purpose in life by choosing a vocation and not a program or job role. The university believes in the goal of equifinality. There are many ways to reach the same program. The logo also has the impression of a maze – which all of us have to successfully navigate through to reach our goals. The logo also reminds us of a puzzle where there are metal balls that need to be moved through the maze to take to the centre. Dexterity is required to take the metal ball to the center. The logo represents the dexterity and concentration that are part of skill acquisition.
