Data analysts are at the nexus of information technology, statistics and industry. This program would provide you with a solid grip on the technological skills needed to effectively collect, wrangle, mine, and envision data. You would also gain the soft skills for engaging with stakeholders and telling stories with data to engage your audience. You would be prepared to analyze real-world datasets, generate interactive dashboards and deliver reports to share findings. After completing the program, you can kick-start your career as an Associate or Junior Data Analyst.
Please note: B.Sc. Data Analytics requires students to gain hands-on exposure to several tools and technologies such as Tableau, MS Excel, Python, R, Machine Learning among others through the 3 years of the program. Hence, students willing to pursue this program are required to carry a laptop of following configuration:
  • Processor: i5 2GHz (9th Gen), multi-core or above
  • Ram: 8 GB 1600MHz or above
  • HDD: 512GB or above
  • OS: Windows 10 or above
  • Graphic Card: Not compulsory

Curriculum Advisory Group

In line with the mission and vision of DSEU to create industry relevant courses the Curriculum Advisory Group (CAG) is a mix of passionate educators and subject matter experts from academics and industry. There is a unique CAG for each of the bachelors and masters level courses. The CAG has analyzed the conceptual needs of the course as well as the employability needs and entrepreneurial opportunities offered to the students by the course. Based on their analysis the CAG has developed the program structure, selected the courses to be included, designed the syllabus, suggested the pedagogical approach, outlined the contours of the assessment, suggested modes of and the nature of industry interactions, and aspects of internships and apprenticeships offered in the course.
