Consolidate Report on Visit at POWHER Trust, Shakti Nagar
On 8th August’ 2022, BBA- Facilities and Hygiene Management students went for an Industrial visit at POWHER Trust, Shakti Nagar, Delhi. There were around 40 people including 6 handicapped ,14 women and 14 mentally retarded people. At this Center they were making sustainable, environment-friendly products also make product using out of waste, Environment -friendly products. They also make products using out of waste. Such as conference kits, file folder, diaries, pens, pouches, handmade corporate gifts, organic gulal for Holi, diya and candles for Diwali. They told us the revenue generated from sales is used in support of rehabilitation livelihood and training Programme.
They are located in 2 locations in Delhi one of which is in Mansarovar Kheda village Shahdara there they provide advanced skill training classes to 90+ underprivileged women girls and differently-abled people for the tailoring, hand embroidery, handicrafts, mehndi, makeup artist and health awareness etc.
