BBA BFSI, IIIrd Semester students visited the Neela Hauz Biodiversity Park, New Delhi, as a part of the Environmental Studies course on 17 October 2022. The field visit was coordinated by Prof. Kamna Sachdeva and Dr. Ashima Sharma.
The purpose of the visit was to show to the students a natural aquatic ecosystem and how a natural water body could serve as a natural water purifier. Students observed the polluted water of Yamuna River getting naturally purified through oxidation. Besides this, the students witnessed diversity of plants, animals etc. Overall, the visit was very good and the students not only enjoyed it, but got to observe and learn the natural ecological processes in the serene environment of the biodiversity park.
