The main focus of this program was on various aspects of the standard taking feedback from stakeholders with regard to their experience in field work along with studies. This standard was first published in 1969 and subsequently revised in 1982 by the name IS 5216. It was an interactive session with the exchange of ideas on this standard and BIS cordially invited students of Ambedkar DSEU Shakarpur Campus-1 to attend the same. The program was scheduled to be held at Lal C Verman Hall, Manak Bhawan, Delhi – 110002. All the present staff and students at the hall discussed electrical safety precautions and the upcoming standards of electrical equipment. It was a very informative and joyful discussion and we get to know about a lot of useful and futuristic things.
